Take Some Time For You!
Located on the Bozeman Trail, Sheridan was central to the turbulent western expansion of the 1800s. Explore where legends roamed – Crazy Horse, Red Cloud, Custer and Buffalo Bill. The area was the last most-prized hunting grounds of the Plains Indians. Numerous Indian War battles were waged here, at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains.
Sheridan embraces its western heritage and has preserved the Old West in historic downtown Sheridan. Main Street is on the National Register of Historic Places. Allow yourself time to leisurely stroll or shop its many galleries, unique western shops and boutiques.
